There are some online casinos which offer mobile games. Blackjack is one of the most popular mobile casino games. It's very easy to begin. Usually you select your country, your phone number and then you download a casino software. Most of the games can be played for free which gives you enough time to get used to it before you place your first bet.
All games have strategies that deliver proven or anticipated results, and the game of Blackjack is no exception. A lot of the well-known strategies for the game have been developed around the “odds” of a standard game. One of the first blackjack strategies that most players learn about involves the “ten” cards – which include any card that carries a face, such as the King, Queen or Jack and the numeric ten.
In a normal deck of playing cards there will be sixteen with the value of ten, meaning that the “odds” suggest that a dealer in a game of Blackjack will usually, but not always, have one in the “hole”, or face down in their own hand. This is only a theoretical concept, but statistics indicate it is the most common scenario.
When a player works on the premise that the dealer is holding a ten card, plus their upward facing card, it is fairly easy to see whether or not a dealer will “bust”. Additionally, it also gives a player a good chance at bettering their own hand using the same theory.
For example, a player with a hand valued at ten or eleven, but without possession of a “ten” card of some kind, is quite likely to get a ten card on their hit. This is the basis for the blackjack rules around a strategy called “double down”.
When a player indicates they are doubling down, they will receive only one more card, and their original bet will be doubled at a value equal to, or occasionally less, than their standing bet at the opening of the hand.
The ideal time for a player to double down is when they are holding a ten or eleven value hand, and the dealer’s upward facing card is a four, five or six. The odds for such a situation suggest that the player will receive a ten card, since they do not currently hold one, and that the dealer who probably has a ten card, plus the four, five or six, will take a hit and bust.
Even if a player does not get a ten card on their hit, the dealer may still bust, leaving the win in the hands of the player who doubled down.
A second good scenario for doubling down is if the player is dealt an Ace and a numeric card and the dealer is showing a three through six card. Once again, the standard odds indicate that the dealer has the higher chance of busting.
The dealer is going to deal the cards out to show you an example of a good time to double down.
