There are some online casinos which offer mobile games. Blackjack is one of the most popular mobile casino games. It's very easy to begin. Usually you select your country, your phone number and then you download a casino software. Most of the games can be played for free which gives you enough time to get used to it before you place your first bet.
Like any other game, the card game known as Blackjack has its own set of rules and strategies that players will follow. One popular strategy also has specific rules around its use, and is known as “splitting”. Splitting a hand in Blackjack can only be done when the player receives a matching pair of cards, and the strategic part of the act comes in determining the best times or hands to split.
Many players ask “why split at all?” and basically, the answer is simply to increase the chances of beating the dealer. Splitting is done based on total card values, so if a hand is strong or valuable, keep it, otherwise consider the split.
Standard guidelines recommend that splitting should be done on all hands except tens, fours and fives. Where the tens are concerned, it is simply a matter of a great hand, since the goal of Blackjack is to hit or come close to twenty-one, it would be unwise to give away a twenty valued hand.
Why shouldn’t a player split a pair of fours or fives? Basically the rationale behind this rule begins with the behaviors of the “ten” cards. A standard deck of cards contains sixteen at the value of ten – the numeric, King, Queen and Jack. This means that a player not holding a ten card is quite likely to receive one on a hit. If that is the case the player is giving up their chance at an eighteen or a twenty by splitting and receiving a fourteen or fifteen, which the dealer is highly likely to beat.
Additionally, a secondary guideline in splitting has to do with the dealer’s hand; if they are showing a six or less, all pairs, except the tens, fours and fives should be split. This is because the dealer is likely to bust on such a hand – since his “hole” or downward facing card is probably all ready a ten card.
Finally, all Blackjack enthusiasts recommend always splitting aces and eights. This is simply based, again, on the ten value card’s likely appearance on the hit, which would more than likely lead to a bust. For example, keeping a pair of eights together means hitting on a sixteen, which is probably going to bust the player. Additionally, the two aces will be valued at two, which means the next card will more than likely bring the hand to a value of twelve, and from there it is usually a bust.
